So I started this keep fit thing in November when I realised I had 500 days until I was 40. I thought I’d use it as a kick start to improve my health, lose some weight and reverse my laziness. Currently writing this I’ve got about 190 days left and I’ve lost 2 stone, 2 inches round the waist and completed my first parkrun.
I also found out that I got a place in the London Marathon through the ballot. This takes place the day after my 40th !
So now this shit gets real. I’ve got to really step up. 6 months to be able to run 42km / 26 miles !
Training has started already.
I’ll be keeping track of my training on strava and my Instagram pages.
Luckily I don’t have to worry about raising a certain amount of money for charity. Although I will be. Links to follow.
